Tripleplay to deliver IPTV and Digital Signage network at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena
July 19, 2019

Tripleplay’s market leading IPTV and Digital Signage solution has been selected for installation at Dubai’s new Coca-Cola Arena.

Opened last month, the new 17,000-capacity multi-purpose indoor arena will use more than 200 end-points of Tripleplay Digital Signage and IPTV across its IP network utilising Tripleplay’s proven and reliable end-to-end solutions.

Tripleplay Director for the Middle East, Amer Alzaiem, explained “this is our first major arena project in the Middle East but one of almost 100 stadia and arena across the globe using the Tripleplay platform and that level of experience has helped us deliver a technology solution that is modern, feature rich and future proof for our partners at Coca-Cola Arena.

“We are very proud to have been selected and are determined to ensure, with our support, that this venue is a beacon for arena technology in the region for many years to come.”

A Coca-Cola Arena spokesperson added “Coca-Cola Arena is state-of-the-art in its design and technical features. We are delighted to welcome Tripleplay to be a part of the journey with us and feel very confident that their IPTV and digital signage solutions will further enhance the arena’s reputation of being a world-class venue.”

Tripleplay technology is installed at some of the world’s leading arena and stadia including Mercedes-Benz Arena Berlin, Daytona International Speedway, Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium and Atletico de Madrid’s Wanda Metropolitano.

Located in the heart of City Walk, Coca-Cola Arena is the region’s largest indoor multipurpose arena.

The venue is owned by Meraas, a Dubai-based holding company, and managed by AEG Ogden.

The venue is the subject of a feature in the latest issue of Australasian Leisure Management.
