The new 30,000-seat venue in Parramatta joins ANZ Stadium, MCG, SCG, Suncorp Stadium, Adelaide Oval and AAMI Park as major venues covered by ticketek.com.au
Explaining that Ticketek’s vast experience would stand the new stadium in good stead in its first year of operations, Bankwest Stadium Chief Executive Daryl Kerry advised “Bankwest Stadium will set a new standard in the event experience in Sydney and we are thrilled to have Ticketek on board to help us deliver events at the Stadium.
“We value the fact that Ticketek has its own local technology team to develop and deliver world-class customer experiences to Australian fans.
“We are particularly excited about Ticketek’s innovation in mobile ticketing and technology and the many benefits this will provide to fans and hirers at Bankwest Stadium.”
Geoff Jones, Chief Executive of Ticketek parent company TEG thanked Venues NSW and VenuesLive for the opportunity for Ticketek to be a foundation partner at Bankwest Stadium.
He added “Bankwest Stadium represents a step change in the live entertainment experience in Australia.
“The breathtaking design, the sightlines and the proximity of seats to the action will produce atmospherics that will set new benchmarks.
“I am thrilled that Ticketek will be providing the exclusive ticketing, technology and digital marketing services at Bankwest Stadium and we all look forward to this exciting project coming to life.”
This week has also seen Bankwest Stadium tenant the Parramatta Eels announce a partnership with TLA Australia and Game Changer MVP to provide a world-class fan experience at new venue.
Game Changer MVP specialises in sports entertainment, interactive gaming and innovative marketing, while TLA Australia is a sports marketing agency with global experience in event ownership and execution. Both companies will work with the NRL club across all aspects of in-stadium big screen, LED and IPTV production.
The Eels become the first Australian sports club to work directly with TLA Australia and Game Changer MVP.
Eels Chief Executive Bernie Gurr stated “TLA Australia and Game Changer MVP will also provide our corporate partners and sponsors the opportunity to be showcased through industry leading game day production and innovation.
“This will ensure that Parramatta Eels will be at the forefront of sponsor and partner activation in both the NRL and Australian sport.”
Bankwest Stadium is managed under the authority of NSW Government agency Venues NSW and is operated by VenuesLive. Ticketek is one of 14 businesses in ticketing, live entertainment and data analytics owned and operated by TEG, Asia Pacific’s largest integrated live entertainment company.
