January 28, 2020

With the sector energised for the New Year, the 2020 Keepme Ignite Fitness Business Summit has been designed to shift owners’ and operators’ business success into “a whole new gear”.

Being held on Friday 21st February @ Citadines on Bourke Melbourne, the Summit is the fitness industry’s major event of the year and will see delegates schooled in making more sales, winning the retention war, excel in social media marketing, and create a thriving, high-performance team.

Mel Tempest, founder and organiser of the Ignite Fitness movement explains “with keynote speakers including Steve Jensen, Greg Sellar, Ian Mullane, Liam Robertson, Owen Bowling, Michelle Furniss, Sam Merza, the Velocity Legal team and Nadine Kemp, you’re bound to leave feeling impressed, inspired, and empowered by the proven tips, techniques, strategies and secrets that these industry specialists will share.

“If you’re ready to accelerate the performance of your business and ignite the passion among your team, then secure your ticket before spaces sell out.”

Fitness Legal Panel a first for the industry
The team from Velocity Legal will be presenting a first for the industry, covering how business owners need to be protecting themselves and their business with strong policy and procedures in place to provide a safe and structured working environment for their teams.

This session will explain the need to understand the difference between a contractor and an employee, taxation, franchising, contracts, trademarks, starting and selling a business, how to hire and move on, social media, and financial obligations.

With the Velocity Legal team specialising in the fitness business industry, the Fitness law panel will be joined by Edwina Griffin who specialises in conflict resolution in the workplace.
