read moreTEG is to host the world premiere of Real Madrid World of Football Experience in Australia in June, with Ticketek having this week commenced ticket sales.
The interactive football experience, in partnership with TEG and iEC, will officially open in Melbourne on 9th June, just a few days prior to the 2018 FIFA World Cup kick off.
Melbourne will be the first city to host the new, state-of-the-art touring football exhibition that showcases the famous Spanish football club.
Introducing the concept, TEG Chief Executive Geoff Jones explained “the visitor experience will be a truly innovative way for Real Madrid to connect with its huge global fan base across Australia, Asia, and the Americas. Before this touring experience was devised, the only way to see first-hand the remarkable history of Real Madrid and its players was to visit the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.
“Now we are bringing that experience directly to fans, starting in Melbourne. I commend the Victorian Tourism and Major Events Minister John Eren and Visit Victoria for the vision and commitment to bring the world premiere to Australia’s sporting capital.”
The Real Madrid World of Football Experience offers four visitor zones, including the Exhibition Zone which offers audio-visual displays and interactive technology to discover the clubs’ history and victories. It will also showcase Original memorabilia and trophies populate this visual zone.
In the 360° Cinematic Match Day Experience Zone, visitors can become immersed in the energy of a match day at the club’s home round, the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.
Next, the Come Play! Interactive Zone is loaded with physical, digital and playable technology. Fans can test their power, speed and accuracy against the Real Madrid first team in the Skills Arena.
There is also a EA Sports FIFA Arena and a Fuzbol Battle Zone, which is a gigantic 16-person Fuzbol table.
Finally, fans can have their photo taken with Real Madrid players through green screen technology in the Merchandise Zone.
