Gold Coast sightseeing cruise operator Wyndham Cruises have announced the company will rebrand to Sea World Cruises as part of an initiative to enhance the customer experience and showcase the Gold Coast’s waterways to theme park visitors.

Sea World cruises will offer a new ferry service transporting passengers from Surfers Paradise to Sea World.

The ferry service will have the capacity to move 600 people per day with the existing fleet of vessels.

Village Roadshow Chief Operating Officer Bikash Randhawa supports the move and believes it is a great way for the theme parks and the Gold Coast to shine.

“Village Roadshow is committed to providing new experiences to our customers and the ferry service is a great way for visitors to enjoy the best of the Gold Coast in one day.”

Sea World Cruises General Manager, Anthony Ardern says the rebrand is an exciting opportunity and a significant step in the company’s evolution.

“We are excited to operate under the Sea World brand. It’s such an iconic name in the tourism market and we look forward to integrating our cruises with the Sea World product,” he said.

“Wyndham Cruises have been operating daily sightseeing and dining cruises out of Surfers Paradise for 15 years and will continue to do so under the Sea World brand with an additional ferry service to Sea World.”

“There is no change to our regular sightseeing cruises with the additional service to Sea World an added bonus for passengers. We are providing an experience for customers, not just a ferry.”
