read moreRespected and longstanding industry achievers David Allan, Ken Baldwin, Amanda Bracks and Leon McNeice have been inducted into the Fitness Industry Roll of Honour, presented at a Fitness Australia gala event in Sydney last night.
The Roll of Honour gives national recognition to people who are described as 'game-changers' - those who have made an enduring contribution to make the fitness industry - and each of the recipients’ career history reflects that.
A former Chairman of Fitness Australia’s Board of Directors in November last year, Allan was a senior executive at Fitness First Australia from 2000 to 2012 before founding group training studio 38X Fitness in 2013.
Baldwin is a functional ageing specialist, movement and wellness educator at Wellness 4 Health and the former managing owner of QPEC.
Bracks is an expert in client acquisition and customer retention and has been a mentor to thousands of sales people, customer service representatives and businesses owners. She founded Soulful Fitness in 2015.
The evening also saw Bracks’ Soulful Fitness brand named Boutique Fitness Business of the Year.
Leon McNeice was the co-founder of Goodlife Health Clubs, and has since developed fitness concepts including Total Fusion and MyFirstGym.

The Australian Fitness Awards, powered by Fitness Australia, are designed to recognise the remarkable contribution of fitness industry professionals and businesses, and the impact they have in their communities.
Fitness Australia is the national peak industry association here to help make Australia a more physically active nation, through a professional workforce and facilitating access to high quality programs and services.
It includes 20,000 AusREPs, 3,500 fitness business members, 200 CEC providers and 12 newly Quality Accredited businesses who are leading the way and an industry with almost three million consumers.
