The first phase of instructor development is underway at WhiteWater World, with five instructor candidates undergoing training.
WhiteWater World’s Pipeline Plunge attraction is currently undergoing a full refurbishment in preparation for the park’s reopening, complementing the refurbishment works completed late last year.
The park looks forward to providing guests the opportunity to experience their newest attraction, Fully 6 – which offers six individual body slides of varying thrill levels. The slide complex opened in December last year as a part of a $7 million investment into the water park.
Chief Strategy Officer, Paul Callander advised “Fully 6 is a fantastic attraction for the whole family and we can’t wait to welcome guests back into the park to experience it.
“Our team, with the support of local contractors are working hard to have all refurbishment and maintenance works completed so our attractions will be open and available in time for our reopening. We are incredibly proud to continue offering guests such a high-quality water park experience from 16th September.”
In addition to works being undertaken across the park, WhiteWater World has also taken the decision to join the Jeff Ellis International (JEI) family of leading water parks, resorts and aquatic facilities, implementing the firm’s rigorous Comprehensive Aquatic Risk Management Program (CARMP). The first phase of instructor development is underway at WhiteWater World, with five instructor candidates undergoing training.
General Manager Operations, Michelle Erasmus notes “safety is our first priority here at WhiteWater World, and we’re proud to be working with a partner like Safety Skills Training (SST) who provide the Ellis & Associates training programs, teaching materials and assessment tools, helping us to offer the highest standard of aquatic safety.”
