The Wellness Program unveils advisors as it opens search for funding
February 23, 2021

Artificial intelligence solution The Wellness Program has announced two advisors - Emmett Williams and Alborz Fallah - who contribute their skills and expertise to provide guidance and direction to the company’s executive team through its growth and development as a fitness technology innovator.

Williams is a partner and APAC Chief Executive of Myzone which currently serves 7500 commercial customers and over two Million users while Fallah is one of Australia’s most successful young entrepreneurs.

He founded Caradvice.com.au and grew the company to dominate the Australian car review market before selling to Nine Entertainment for $60 million.

Commenting on his new role, Williams advised “I am proud to be invited onto the advisory board of The Wellness Program.

“This Australian start up is a prime example of the innovation that will drive the global fitness industry forward over the coming decade, leveraging artificial intelligence against behaviour change theory to help drive exercise adherence. Helping customers to obtain their health and fitness aspirations and helping operators to unlock economic gains is fundamental to the industry's growth, and The Wellness Program is positioned to be one of the key catalysts in this regard.”

Developing artificial intelligence solutions for the fitness industry, The Wellness Program’s ‘Coach Welly’ is an AI coach for gym members that helps them succeed by providing personalised coaching, accountability and support.

Launching in Australia in Q2 of this year, Coach Welly will offer gyms a new way to engage their members while providing personalised support using artificial intelligence.

The company has also announced the opening of its latest seed round, seeking $350,000 to launch the developed product into an Australian testing phase prior to international expansion in 2022.

Explaining the company’s plans, The Wellness Program Chief Executive, Owen Bowling stated “we are very excited to welcome these talented and experienced leaders to help guide us through the product launch and growth phases of our business.

“Their combined expertise in the key areas of fitness-technology and digital business operations will play a valuable role in guiding our strategic decisions and accelerating our market penetration. I am confident these additions to our team will give rise to new and exciting opportunities and help strengthen The Wellness Program’s position as a leading provider of AI coaching for the fitness industry.”
