rEVENTS Academy launch their 2022 Regional Event Management Training Program Schedule

rEVENTS Academy launch their 2022 Regional Event Management Training Program Schedule
February 10, 2022

rEVENTS Academy have announced the 2022 dates for their popular series of Regional Event Management Training Programs. The launch has come at an opportune time for event committees in rural and regional areas to boost their planning efforts and management skills as optimistic local councils welcome festivals and events back to their tourism calendars.

For regional event committees, the rEVENTS Academy training programs follow a holistic approach to every aspect of event management. Participants boost skills in event planning, volunteer management, finances, sponsorship, grant funding, marketing, logistics, site preparation, and post event review.

The program is in ten easy-to-follow modules that incorporate video lessons, case studies, and all the tools and templates required to formulate a complete event management plan.

The 2021 Regional Event Management Training Program was a huge success with over 40 regional event committees benefiting from the program.

Claire McCann, a past participant of the training program shares "I really enjoyed rEVENTS Academy. Anyone in events or wanting to get involved in events needs to do this course. It is perfect for every type of event at every stage of the event life cycle – councils, not for profits, community-run events, etc.

“I feel like I learnt more in this seven week course than I would have in a year of study. Your experience and the tools, resources and case studies you provide are invaluable. Thank you for sharing your years of knowledge, experience and tips."

The online training can be undertaken in one of three core ways:

  • As a SELF PACED PROGRAM, designed to follow the natural flow of an event management rollout.
  • As an intense 7 WEEK INTENSIVE skill boost, which moves the entire event committee through the program in seven weeks, with weekly live webinars to keep everyone together and on track. This program has the bonus of introducing the participants to other like-minded regional event committees as they move through their learnings together.
  • New to 2022 is the PREMIUM ACCELERATOR PROGRAM specifically for Councils who want to boost the skill level of organisers of signature and new events within their tourism destination. The program is 12-weeks of guided events training with the founder of rEVENTS Academy, Linda Tillman.
The program covers the 10 modules of the Regional Event Management Training Program, and includes intensive 1-1 coaching focusing on giving event committees maximum support in the areas they need it most. This program helps Councils provide specific support to the core events within their tourism destination area.

Once registered, all rEVENTS Academy participants retain LIFETIME ACCESS to all resources, webinars, tools, templates and the online training portal.
