read moreA significant demand for swim school placements is seeing new swim school franchises fill all available classes before they’ve even opened their doors, according to the JUMP! Swim Schools franchise network.
At Marsden Park in Western Sydney, which opened on Monday 31st January, 431 memberships were signed before the doors opened, a new record for the network.
Meanwhile, at JUMP! Swim School Armstrong Creek in Victoria, which is due to open in March, there are already over 800 parents who have registered their interest. This interest has primarily been generated by onsite signage.
JUMP! Swim Schools Chief Executive, Mark Collins said there is a huge demand for swim schools at the moment, commenting “parents are very keen to get their kids to swimming lessons after lockdowns have kept kids out of the water and swim skills have dropped.
“Australia needs more swim schools - we’re working hard to get new franchise sites open across Australia. Our schools are boutique with small classes, and we just need more of them!”
Explaining that location also plays a big part in the successful openings, Collins notes “we’re helping franchisees open sites in areas that are seriously lacking swim facilities. Our operations team works really hard to conduct the necessary research and identify territories like Marsden Park and Armstrong Creek across Australia.
“We’re in growth mode - swim schools can barely keep up with demand and we’re eager to find more like-minded franchisees to partner with as we growth the network.”
JUMP! Swim Schools is also conducting a recruitment drive because more swim teachers are needed nationally.
Here Collins states “for those looking for a career change and people who love working with kids, this could be a great opportunity. It’s a flexible and rewarding role and many of our swim schools are also providing financial and other assistance to get people qualified to be swim teachers.”
The recent openings have taken the JUMP! network to more than 50 sites nationwide.
