New Zealand ticketing company iTICKET, has entered into a new three-year partnership with Dunedin’s Edgar Centre. Going forward, iTICKET will be the exclusive ticketing provider for the Edgar Centre, providing a trusted, world class service for all events held at the facility.

The Edgar Centre is a large, indoor multi-functional events centre in South Dunedin, with a capacity of up to 3,000. Catering to a wide variety of users – sport, recreation, events, exhibitions and functions, it is the home venue of the Otago Nuggets basketball team, and an alternate venue for the Southern Steel netball team.

Blair Crawford, General Manager of Edgar Centre enthused “we are excited to partner with iTICKET who will enhance the ticketing experience for all stakeholders. In a seamless transition, Otago Nuggets 2023 memberships and public tickets have just gone on sale through iTICKET, with the first game of Otago Nuggets v Manawatu Jets taking place on Sunday 9th April at the Edgar Centre.

The Southern Steel need to wait out their current contract with Ticketek and will then be ticketing through iTICKET from 2024.
