read moreContinuing to develop and upgrade their technology and data platforms, ActiveXchange has announced the launch of a new dashboard for the National Infrastructure Database (NID).
The cornerstone of ActiveXchange’s data aggregation platform since its launch in early 2020, the NID is a key planning resource available to the entire sport, recreation and government sector with its database containing usage information for more than 30,000 sporting sites and facilities across Australia and New Zealand.
This central database has significantly enhanced the effectiveness and efficiency of infrastructure planning decision-making and continues to form a connected network of up-to-date information for a variety of stakeholders.
This week’s dashboard launch complements the database and provides more in-depth statistics and infrastructure information.
Announcing the launch of the dashboard, ActiveXchange Head of Customer Success and Partnerships, Ricki Jones explained “for our customers to make data-driven decisions, they need access to clear and relevant information displayed in a way they can understand. This dashboard ensures that anyone within an organisation can use our platform with confidence to find the answers they need for resource planning and decision-making.”
The dashboard allows users to dig deeper into the infrastructure database and gain a comprehensive overview of infrastructure usage and potential demand for any geographical region.
All facility categories can be broken down by state, government region, local government area and statistical level area 2 (SA2).
In addition, facilities and sites can be filtered by surface type (such as concrete, ice, turf etc), space type (such as court, park, field etc) and/or usage (such as athletics, court sports etc).
The dashboard is a significant addition to the National Infrastructure Database, and one that we know will provide immense value to all users. We encourage any organisation who is not yet part of the NID to register for a free account and become part of this meaningful initiative.
