Wellington's Waitangi Park will once again host the worlds' best PRO and MASTERS bowl skaters with the seventh annual BOWL-A-RAMA Wellington, from 29th January to 2nd February.

Legendary skaters, such as Pat Ngoho and Pedro Barres will join local New Zealand talents, including Mike Bancroft and Amiel Day, to battle it out for the prize purse of AUS$20,000.

The lineup is set to include PROs Pedro Barros, Alex Sorgente, Filipe Foguinho, Murilo Peres, Kalani David, Vi Kakinho, Sky Silijeg, Ben Hatchall, Nilo Pecanha, Otavio Neto, James McInnes, Brynn Durham, Dan Kelcher, Bowman Hansen, Rob Lorifice, Amiel Day, Rion Linderman, Cory Juneau and Bugs Fardell.

While in the MASTER's Division, the event will welcome Sergie Ventura, Lester Kasai, Sean Goff, Pat Ngoho, Sasha Steinhorst, Steve Crump, Brian Patch, Mike Spittlehouse and Mike Rogers.

BOWL-A-RAMA is the only international professional skateboard competition series and BOWL-A-RAMA Wellington 2014 kicks off the year with a week dedicated to celebrating art, music and true skating culture, leading up to the highly anticipated competition on Saturday.

Chad Ford of event organiser Frontside Events explains "Wellington has been so amazing in embracing skateboarding and BOWL-A-RAMA. Every year BOWL-A-RAMA Wellington gets better and bigger. This year our Festival of the Skateboard is where everyone will see a lot of new and bigger and better things happening. We can't wait to see everyone there and we encourage you all to come and be a part of it; buy the art, dance to the music, scream for the skaters, skate the bowl and share the memories. If you can't make it then be sure to watch it live on TV in New Zealand or on our live webcast everywhere else."

This action-packed, week-long 'Festival of the Skateboard' will boasts parties, art shows, music and entertainment and the best line up of riders from across the world.

Looking forward to the event, Masters World Champion 2012 Skater and LOVE + GUTS art show curator Pat Ngoho adds "Wellington (is) one of the best bowl comps of the year, it means all night events, art and culture."
