read moreNorthern Territory tourism operators are being given the chance to update their marketing material with fresh images through a new Digital Assets Program.
Eligible and approved tourism operators will receive a professional photoshoot designed to capture their businesses and the experiences they offer. Companies will receive up to ten high quality images they can use across marketing and promotional campaigns.
Northern Territory Department of Tourism and Culture Chief Executive Alastair Shields said the program was a great way for tourism operators in the Territory to refresh their promotional material and stay relevant in a competitive market.
Shields stated “marketing is still one of the most effective ways to drive business and the digital assets program is a fantastic way for us to work together to mix up our advertising, and ensure we’re always putting our best face forward.
“We celebrate a really unique destination and brand in the NT, and are famed for being quirky and fun, so our professional photographers are really excited to work with tourism businesses to capture this spirit and encourage people to ‘do the NT’.”
To be eligible for the program, businesses must have a significant tourism focus, be legally constituted and Australian registered; have a current Australian Tourism Data Warehouse listing or be in the process of registering one, and currently operate in the Northern Territory.
The images will be used by both the business and Tourism NT for marketing and advertising purposes to help promote destination ‘NT’.
The Department is committing $100,000 toward the program which is expected to benefit more than 50 tourism operators in the Territory.
All photo shoots are to be completed by 30th June 2017.
