Sports Environment Alliance to stage 2021 awards ceremony at the MCG

The Sports Environment Alliance (SEA) has announced that its 2021 awards will be presented at an event at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on 8th June.
The body is also inviting submissions for the awards before 30th April 2021.
The awards celebrate those that make remarkable efforts to minimise their environmental impact, make their sports more sustainable and act as environmental stewards to ensure the continued provision of spaces and places to play.
The 8th June event will include an event tour, ‘lunch and learn’ sessions, networking drinks, silent auction and the awards ceremony.
Commenting on the event, SEA advise “if you are part of the sports community as an events manager, staff member or otherwise part of a club, organisation, facility, or venue that actively works towards doing more for the world with a smaller footprint, you need to be part of this initiative.
“SEA looks forward to celebrating your regenerative efforts and achievements in the fields of water, energy, materials, biodiversity, built environment, engagement, outreach and education.
Submission should be made to SEA before 30th April 2021.
