SPLASH! Pool and Spa Trade Show returns in August

SPLASH! Pool and Spa Trade Show returns in August
May 10, 2018

With the Gold Coast still basking in the after-glow of the 2018 Commonwealth Games, the SPLASH! Pool and Spa Trade Show is returning to the Gold Coast Convention Centre on 1st and 2nd August.

Based at the Gold Coast Convention Centre, SPLASH! has grown to be the biggest of its kind in the southern hemisphere, with over 2,500 people attending the event and three different aquatic conferences forming the week, it encompasses all elements of the aquatic industry from residential to commercial planning, products and services.

SPLASH! features a full week of education with business professionals from across the aquatic industry sharing their knowledge and experience. Representatives from different countries and world leaders in the industry will be sharing their expertise of products, services and keys to success – all tailored to improve and add value to delegate’s businessses.

SPLASH! will be operating in conjunction with the Swimming Pool and Spa Association of Australia (SPASA). SPASA sessions run will not only enable you to achieve CPD points to remain accredited, but along with the SPLASH! sessions, will give you many business tools to use to increase potential revenue for your business.

There will be an inaugural ‘Women in Leadership’ program with the most influential women in the industry talking candidly about their success and what leadership means to them. This is a great initiative from SPASA with some very positive role models for upcoming females within the industry.

While the program still caters for residential pool builders and suppliers, it has expanded into the commercial aquatic domain with the inclusion of the Aquatic Leisure Facilities Queensland (ALFA Q) conference.

There will be guest speakers delivering critical information on best practice, legislative updates, customer service and operational excellence in order breed the aquatic manager of the future. It is also a great opportunity to meet and network with other aquatics managers, industry professionals in addition to visiting the extensive (largest in the southern hemisphere) pool industry supplier exhibition at SPLASH!

It is also fitting that SPLASH! Features a site visit to the Optus Aquatic Centre, the pool in which the Australian Swim Team triumphed last month. The visit has been organised with Gold Coast City Council, Crystal Pools and Trisley Hydraulics to give people an insight into the pool build and commercial operation.
