read moreVisitor registration has opened for FITNESS + WELLNESS AUSTRALIA 2022, Australia’s new trade show and conference for the fitness and related industries.
Expected to welcome more than 5,000 executives, owners, buyers and decision-makers from all types of health, fitness and exercise facilities across all sectors, including chains, franchises, independents, management companies, councils, universities, military and professional sports, the event will be taking place on 23rd and 24th March next year at the ICC Sydney.
Introducing what will be the first full-scale stand-alone B2B trade show to be held in Australia for the industry in over a decade, Event Director, Shaun Krenz advised “there’s never been a more important time for an event like FWA22.
“It’s been a tough 18 months for many businesses in our industry, but with facilities across the country now reopened and members heading back to their clubs and gyms, things are looking brighter and the time for us to reunite is fast approaching.”
Krenz (pictured below, with microphone) sees that the fitness industry is shifting from surviving the COVID-19 crisis to now looking for ways to thrive in the ‘next normal’.
Explaining that 2019 was a record year for many in the fitness market but unfortunately, momentum was halted by the pandemic, which has changed the rules of the game in the fitness world, Krenz noted “we are very cognisant of what many in the health and fitness industry have endured over the past year, and wanted to ensure we put together an event that not only helps providers recover but also gives them the knowledge, insights and connections they need to take advantage of the changing fitness landscape.”
Attendees at FITNESS + WELLNESS AUSTRALIA 2022 will have the opportunity to see what’s new in health, fitness, and wellness by the industry’s top innovators.
As they reconnect in-person, they will be able to test-drive, compare, and discover all the latest industry solutions on the trade show floor - from the most innovative products and latest advancements in equipment and technology to the basic essentials needed for day-to-day operations.
The conference program runs across seven tracks and is supported by over 100 speakers covering topics across leaderships, strategy and finance, revenue growth, member acquisition and retention, marketing and social media, fitness programming and more.
Networking is at the forefront of the event with the latest AI matchmaking technology being deployed to assist attendees in making new connections and to help set-up meetings with other delegates, potential customers and supplier partners.
Krenz added “it’s been a long time since we’ve been in the same room so we can’t wait to bring everyone back together to learn, network and do business.”
