read moreAn all new inflatable aquatic play attraction has opened at Darwin Waterfront’s Recreation Lagoon.
Commencing operations on Saturday, the new Aqua Park is designed for ultimate interaction, attracting users of ages six and above while maintaining safety requirements.
Explaining that the Aqua Park provides a fun, outdoor and active experience for the whole family, Darwin Waterfront Corporation General Manager, Sam Burke stated “(we are) thrilled to welcome Aqua Park to our Recreation Lagoon, further enhancing the year-round family recreation offerings at the Waterfront and complementing our Wave Lagoon, park-lands and extraordinary retail venues.
“We know Territorians are loving ‘Holidays at Home’ and visitors continue to return to the NT, the Darwin Waterfront remains the destination to enjoy the best that Darwin has to offer for the whole family.”
The Aqua Park will operate from 9am-6pm daily, with up to 70 users per hour session.
Registration is essential, and all users will be issued a colour-coded wristband to identify their registration and age.
All users will be required to adhere to the COVID safety measures in place, wear a life jacket, sign a waiver and complete a short safety induction prior to accessing the park.
Tickets start at $20pp with discounts for families and group bookings also available.
Children 6-9 years must be accompanied by a paying adult.
The Darwin Waterfront Aqua Park is owned and operated by Aqua Park Pty Ltd.
