Victorian family amusement park Funfields is set to launch Wizard Works' first aquatic installation in Australia.

The multi-level aquatic play unit being installed at Funfields features over 20 exciting interactive water features, three waterslides, and a Hydro Storm.

Making its debut in Australia, the Hydro Storm is expected to be a captivating icon for Funfields with the Hydro Storm column programmed to erupt massive floods of water.

Park co-owner John Verga explains "the Hydro Storm concept was what first attracted us to Wizard Works' line of equipment.

"The other drawcard for us was Wizard Works' willingness to stray from their standard, off the shelf line of equipment and help us develop something totally unique to Funfields."

Over the past 12 years Wizard Works has raised the bar to bring to the industry the most state-of-the-art waterpark equipment with their SmartWorks Technology.

SmartWorks Technology has allowed Wizard Works to create miraculous interactive adventures including multi-level play structures, to our revolutionary Crazy-Lazy River, drenching Hydro Storms and spray grounds.

Wizard Works founder Mark Aragona explains that with SmartWorks Technology "we can provide guests with incredibly exciting forms of interactive play features, like never before."

Funfields' waterplay area will occupy an 800 metre²  area and will also incorporate a childrens wading pool.

The area will be a much welcomed addition to Funfields which commenced operation in 1985 with the installation of a Wiegand summer toboggan run - and was then known as the Whittlesea Alpine Toboggan Park. The park also boasts four exciting waterslides, mini golf, go karts, and electric bumper boats with their most recent acquisition being Blackbeard's Fury, a Huss Pirate Ship purchased and relocated from Sea World on the Gold Coast.

In another significant move, Funfields has been a Smokefree venue since 24th September.
