read moreWith much of Australia preparing to safely reopen, Eventbrite is offering a suite of tools to help Australian event creators implement social distancing measures and meet the requirements of COVID safety plans.
With Eventbrite's safety and social distancing features, event creators across the country can seamlessly set up in-person events with attendee and staff safety at top of mind. From controlling capacity, to providing contactless ticketing and payments and gathering vital attendee information, Eventbrite's suite of safe event tools empower event creators of all sizes to return to in-person live events safely.
Eventbrite General Manager Asia Pacific, Josh McNicol explains "our data shows us that event-goers across Australia are ready for a safe return to live events. In regions where it’s safe to gather in-person again, attendees are searching for experiences that are not only unique and memorable, but also place a high priority on their health and wellbeing.
"Eventbrite is proud to offer a range of features that enable event professionals to meet the obligations of their COVIDSafe event plans; whether that’s helping them track and manage attendee capacity, capture details at ticket purchase for contact tracing, or through contactless ticket scanning at points of entry. We’re giving event creators and attendees confidence that they can enjoy a safe return to in-person events."
Timed Entry: With the timed entry tool (above), event creators can stagger the flow of attendees arriving at their event, limiting contact with event staff and ensuring adequate space for social distancing. This tool also makes it easy for event attendees to know exactly when to arrive, helping them avoid long lines and contact with event staff.
Contactless Ticketing: Eventbrite's contactless ticketing options allow event creators to quickly and easily move their ticketing online; add capacity-setting capabilities to limit the number of people at the event; and to maintain social distancing with contactless check-in via smartphone.
Collect Attendee Information for Contact Tracing (above): With Custom Forms, event creators can collect the customer information needed for contact tracing, while the Organiser app helps track which ticket-holders actually attended the event.
Reserved Seating: Eventbrite's reserved seating tool enables event creators to restrict seats or entire rows to ensure social distancing and minimum space requirements are met within each unique venue or event space.
