read moreDiscovery Parks’ Hervey Bay properties are being re-named ahead of the 2018 whale watching season, making it easier for visitors to book a stay at the popular resorts.
Discovery Parks - Fraser Coast will now be known as Discovery Parks - Fraser Street Hervey Bay, while Discovery Parks - Hervey Bay will now be called Discovery Parks - Boat Harbour Drive Hervey Bay.
Discovery Holiday Parks’ founder and Chief Executive Grant Wilckens explained “as the whale watching capital of Australia and gateway to Fraser Island, Hervey Bay is a must-visit destination and home to two different Discovery Parks.
“New more specific names for each of these properties will make it easier for guests to decide which they would like to book.”
Discovery Parks – Fraser Street Hervey Bay, is a welcoming family Park with a bouncing pillow, two swimming pools, a spa, playground, tennis court and basketball hoop, along modern amenities universal with Discovery Park properties.
Discovery Parks - Boat Harbour Drive Hervey Bay, is a low-key getaway sited just minutes away from the Fraser Island departure point, with a swimming pool, and a BBQ area nestled into a stunning garden setting.
Until 30th June, both Parks have standard and economy cabins available for just $99 for a stay during the peak whale watching season.
Wilckens added “while they now have new names, our Hervey Bay properties are the same great parks in one of the best parts of Australia.
“Fraser Island is a stone’s throw away, with kilometres of pristine beaches and rugged cliffs, while Hervey Bay itself is home to a postcard-worthy Esplanade dotted with restaurants and boutiques. The Bay is a water-lover’s paradise with fishing, kayaking, diving, snorkelling and jet skiing just some of the activities on offer.”
