Noting the challenges that the sector faces, Shaun McKeogh, founder and President of Attractions Academy, advised “2020 will forever be remembered in global history as a defining year. The global theme park and attractions industry has been knocked really hard by the COVID-19 pandemic.
“But we are and always have been a resilient, creative and innovative industry that adapts very quickly to the needs and wants of our guests and environments.”
Attractions Academy’s new programs are exclusively live and allow participants to engage with industry experts leading the learning content. On offer are Webinars ‘Best Practice’ Series, Insights Programs, Tutorials, MasterClasses, and a 60 Minute Jam Session.
Advising that the content is aimed at attractions lovers and professionals around the world, McKeogh added “COVID-19 has felt like an extended queue to your favourite ride.
“It is now time to fast pass COVID-19 and continue to work towards improving and developing for the future.”
Response to the initial virtual learning launch by Attractions Academy has been positive with attractions signing up professionals from around the globe. Programs are offered on a range of dates and global time zones.
