read moreNew Zealand based Aflex Technology has added another impressive inflatable waterpark to its list of international clients, launching their custom-built obstacle course for Castaway Island, Fiji.
Both the OUTRIGGER Fiji Beach Resort and Castaway Island, Fiji were recently recognised for their excellence by securing the award for Best Family resort in Fiji – 5-star award and second place for Best Family Resort in Fiji, 3- and 4-star award respectively. These recognitions reinforce the long-standing reputation of both resorts as premier destinations.
Castaway Island, Fiji is known for its stunning natural beauty and relaxed island ambiance. Its recognition coincided with the opening of the resort’s new Aflex Water Park – offering an inflatable waterpark with a custom-built obstacle course.
Located on the scenic North Beach, this attraction is part of OUTRIGGER Resorts’ 2024 'Elevate' initiative, offering activities such as trampoline, water slide, swing, and tower.
The aquatic play park is open daily from 9:30am to 4:30pm and offers flexible pricing with in-house guests paying around $13 for one hour, $23 for two hours. A dedicated transfer boat transports guests to and from the park, which is open to ages eight and up, ensuring convenient and enjoyable experiences for families.
Fiji Island area Director of Sales and Marketing, Ben Johnson enthused “we are incredibly proud to be recognised at the 2024 Holidays with Kids Reader’s Choice Awards. These honours highlight our ongoing commitment to providing exceptional experiences that families can cherish. The dedication and hard of our teams at OUTRIGGER Fiji Beach Resort and Castaway Island truly set us apart. We’re excited to keep enhancing our services and facilities to create unforgettable memories for our guests.”
Aflex Technology also installed their inflatable waterpark for Plantation Island Resort in Fiji in 2016.
