Webinar to explains changes gyms need to make to avoid losing sales
November 2, 2021

With fitness facilities facing new challenges as they reopen after COVID-19 lockdowns, a free webinar - How to Double your Gym Profit (and take Fridays off) - will explain key changes every gym needs to make to avoid losing sales after the pandemic.

Being held on Thursday 4th November, from 1 to 2pm AEST via Zoom, the webinar will cover how to enhance lead flows with fresh offers, convert more sales into paying members, how to recruit and develop the best staff so you can work less and re-engage members to maximise retention.

The webinar is presented by fitness business coach Steve Grant, the Director of Gym Hub, who explains “when gyms closed around Australia again this year, most of the fitness industry pivoted into online or outdoor training in an attempt to keep staff employed and keep a small amount of cashflow coming in.

“Now, as COVID-19 restrictions ease heading into Christmas 2021, the fitness industry faces many challenges this year to recoup loss in members and lost revenue before they can feel confident about their business future.

“With negative press and uncertainty in the media It's become increasingly more difficult to attract new members and convince them of the benefits of long-term training.

“The fitness industry has also experienced a labour shortage with many qualified instructors choosing to leave the industry for more consistent work in industries less unaffected by COVID-19.”

The webinar will also include new challenges that have emerged, with Grant noting “that the strict privacy regulations that Apple introduced with their iOS15 software update has made it harder for gyms to re-target buyers with paid Facebook ads, leaving gyms mostly reliant on Facebook and Instagram for lead generation (and) struggling to attract new enquiries.”

The free 1hour online webclass How to Double your Gym Profit (and take Fridays off) is being held on Thursday 4th November, from 1 to 2pm AEST
