New Trails website launched in South Australia

Backed by funding from the South Australian Office for Recreation and Sport, industry body Recreation SA has launched a new website to promote recreational trail experiences in South Australia.

The Trails SA website provides a library of over 600 trail experiences across the South Australia for those looking for a leisurely afternoon stroll or multi-day wilderness adventure.

Users can explore the site by an activity - including walking, cycling, horse riding, scuba diving and canoeing - or by a region within the State.

The website will soon feature accommodation options within the regions and allow bookings to be made online.

A range of recent industry research has shown that walking, cycling and bushwalking feature in the top 15 activities that adults participate in in South Australia, with the main motivators being physical health and fitness, enjoyment and being social.

With this in mind the new Trails SA website is a great resource for South Australians, as well as visitors, to use to get out in the great outdoors and be active.
