The Manly Sea Eagles have recruited their new Chief Executive David Perry from reigning National Rugby League Premiers St George.
Perry, the former junior coach of the clubï¾s star young international five eighth Kieran Foran, is the current Executive Manager of Partnerships at St George.
Perry will take up his new role on 14th June, having initially worked with outgoing Sea Eagles Chief Executive Graham Lowe who is standing down from the position due to ill health.
Manly Chairman Scott Penn explains that "David will bring a wealth of experience in sales and marketing to the club.
"He has achieved excellent results in his three years at St George Illawarra as team leader of the clubï¾s successful commercial sales team.
"His commercial ability on top of a lifelong involvement as a player, coach and more recently as a senior executive in rugby league gives him the ideal background for a vital management role at the Sea Eagles."
Perry said he was looking forward to working with such a successful club, adding that "I know what the Sea Eagles mean to the people of the peninsula. It is an iconic brand in the game and Iï¾m excited to be joining the club at a period where the future looks very bright.
"The club has been a permanent fixture in finals football under coach Des Hasler and I look forward to that continuing."
