Australian Swim Schools Association presents 2021 Hall of Fame and National Excellence Awards
September 1, 2021

The Australian Swim Schools Association has announced the recipients of its 2021 Hall of Fame and National Excellence Awards - with City Venue Management Chief Executive Reece Rackley and Laurie Lawrence’s Kids Alive water safety initiative added to the Hall of Fame.

Presented last week during the online Australian Swim Schools Association (ASSA), Rackley (pictured below), who has been in his current role since 2009, was added to the Hall of Fame for his ongoing ‘Outstanding Contribution’ to the industry.

On LinkedIn, a City Venue Management statement on Rackley’s recognition advised “Reece's outstanding contribution through leadership and advocacy during these difficult and uncertain times for the entire industry has been unwavering.”

Kids Alive’s Hall of Fame recognition was for its ‘Humanitarian’ efforts.

ASSA's Awards of Excellence winners were:

Inclusive Swimming - Mt Annan Leisure Centre
Safer Swimming - Little Pearls Swim School
Outstanding Growth - Rackley Swimming
Community Service - Blue Fit, Port Macquarie
Emerging Talent - Amanda Stromberg and Jacqueline Fahey.
