Merlin Entertainments have activated the skyscape of their Illawarra Fly Treetop Walk with Australia's first boutique high-end adventure canopy tour - a high-profile rainforest experience that marries with the existing world-class treetop walk. The new Canopy Tour is built upon the NSW Southern Highlands escarpment of Knights Hill,  700 metres above sea leavel and consists of 50 metre long suspension bridges and three ziplines.

Designed and installed by TouchCloud Global (TCg), Merlin invested $1 million to activate the new attraction and create a truly uplifting and memorable experience, whether in rain, cloud or sunshine.

A statement on the TCg website explains that the “Illawarra Fly's world-class Canopy Tour is unique in immersing guests high within the canopy of a warm temperate escarpment rainforest while being easily visible by visitors walking on the nearby treetop walk.

“This unique feature permits non-zipping family and friends of zipline participants to 'share' the experience, to engage with and be part of the adventure.”
