Darwin-based Top End Nutrition has launched an outdoor community exercise and nutrition initiative dedicated to improving the health of local residents.

Operating on the Darwin Waterfront, Top End Nutrition offers group fitness classes, boot camp style training and a four week ‘Fit Challenge’ for those who want to achieve optimal results.

While classes are free, optional $5 recovery shakes are available after the class.

Top End Nutrition also offers free wellness consultations, where trained consultants assess a person’s health through weight, body fat percentage, lean muscle mass, hydration levels, metabolic age and visceral fat.

Top End Nutrition owner-operator Tom Marsh explains that in addition to the fitness elements, “our mission is to change the nutritional habits of Darwin locals; one person at a time.

“We do this through education of our philosophy of 20% exercise and 80% nutrition.”

A distributor for Herbalife International, Marsh introduces exercisers to the US-based multi-level marketing corporation’s nutrition supplements, weight management and sports nutrition.

Marsh adds “everyone is different, and we work with individuals to tailor easy and achievable nutrition programs with personalised coaching and follow up to help achieve their weight loss and/or health goals.

“Clients get personal coaching and follow up with products that cannot be purchased at a store.

“Our aim is not to offer just a quick fix, but a lifestyle change for long lasting health.

“We pride ourselves of our sense of community, through our strong group support, recognition of achievements and education for clients."
