The announcement was made last week on 3rd December - International Day for People with Disability.
Thanks to etrainu.com, 31 surf clubs across the country will receive equipment to help provide programs and activities for members with all levels of ability.
Equipment eligible under the Grant includes a varied range of nipper boards, with support straps to better assist participants and carers. An extensive range of sensory and play equipment was also delivered as part of the Grant to help clubs organise fun and active play on the beach.
SLSA extended thanks to suppliers Bennett Surfboards, Infront Surfcraft, Demon Boards, G-Boards, Kmart and Hart Sport.
SLSA also thanked all clubs delivering inclusion programs on their beach each year, which supports and allows a pathway for people with disabilities to participate in surf lifesaving activities on the beach.
