Rackley Swimming takes on management of two Gold Coast swim schools
January 8, 2019

Gold Coast children are set to swim with more skill and savviness with Rackley Swimming taking on the management of the Southport and Parkwood swim school sites.

Previously managed by Lane Ropes Swim School, south east Queensland-based Rackley Swimming took on management of the facilities on 1st December.

Rackley Swimming Chief Executive, and long-time Gold Coast resident, Reece Rackley advised “we feel proud to introduce and extend our premium swim services, and showcase why for 20 years now, Rackley Swimming families have benefited from our experience and strong pedigree in the learn to swim space. We thank Lane Ropes for their wonderful work in establishing this community of swimmers, and we look forward to continuing this passion.”

Swim School General Manager, Cameron Speechley, says the two additional sites, will total 23 aquatic centres across south-east Queensland, ranging in locations from the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich and the Gold Coast.

Speechley says, families will not only benefit from qualified instructors - each of whom are passionate about teaching fun and practical aquatic skills, while in an accommodating and comfortable environment - but savings, adding “Bubs - two to six months of age - can swim for free for up to four months with our ‘Baby Splash’ sessions; kids six months to three years can ‘Come & Try’ for a free lesson; and, children three years and above, are welcome to join us for a free ‘Swim Safety Check’ before enrolling.

“Furthermore, if a swimmer is enrolled in more than one lesson a week, we offer package savings, in addition to our discounts to families who have three or more children enrolled in lessons.”

While many familiar faces will remain at the sites - helping existing children in the transition of management - Speechley says, as numbers grow, so too will the need for employment opportunities, concluding “which is great for the community also.”
