Introducing the partnership, MTC Executive Director and co Chief Executive Virginia Lovett advised “our forum night sessions are an opportunity for theatre-goers, actors and creative artists to come together and delve deeper into the productions we present.
“By supporting MTC, ANZ demonstrates a clear understanding of the important role the arts plays in our community. We look forward to working together to develop new initiatives that help improve the lives of people throughout Australia.”
Set to commence in January next year, ANZ Forum Nights are special post-show events for each play in MTC’s season, offering audiences a unique opportunity to extend their theatre experience and hear directly from members of the cast and creative teams.
In 2019 there will be 20 ANZ Forum Nights held across the season.
ANZ Australia Group Executive Fred Ohlsson added “Melbourne Theatre Company is one of Australia's flagship performing arts companies, and ANZ is proud to become a Major Partner for the next three years. Supporting theatre in Australia enables us to share inspiring and unique experiences with our customers and the broader community. We are pleased to start our association with MTC, which is an important part of ANZ’s commitment to helping communities thrive.”
