Presented last Friday (1st June) at a gatherting of Victorian aquatic and recreation industry professionals and employees at the Crown Palladium for a night of rewards, the awards ceremony recognised and awarded Victorian facilities for their outstanding contributions to the leisure industry.
Hosted by Channel 9's Tony Jones, Links Modular Solutions and Training Sense congratulated all the winners, with special congratulations reserved for the winners using Links Modular Solutions.
Dr Ken Marriott took out the night's most prestigious award, in honour of Sir Frank Beaurepaire, for his Outstanding Contribution to the Aquatic and Recreation Industry.
Other winners included:
• Melbourne City Baths for the Facility Management Award
• Aquarena Aquatic and Leisure Centre for the Health Club Award,
• Linda Freake from Eltham Leisure Centre for the Most Valuable Employee award,
• Nicky Brown from Endeavour Hills Leisure Centre for the Group Exercise Instructor award,
• Ian Jenkins from Cardinia LiFE for the best Duty Manager,
• Jane Angel from Macleod Recreation and Fitness Centre for the Training Sense Gym Instructor/Personal Trainer award.
• Vanessa Scibberas from St Albans Leisure Centre for the best customer service.
