read moreKiama Leisure Centre has experienced a surge in demand for swimming lessons, reflecting the growing number of young families in the region.
The Swim school which operates its enrolments using Envibe software, has more than 1350 children already enrolled for 2024.
The Centre's indoor facility features a 25 metre heated pool, heated toddlers pool, spa and sauna and a popular aqua aerobics program.
The Centre has introduced a range of of initiatives to streamline the Swim School experience for customers and is also working to expand their instructor team to meet the increase in demand and maintain the quality of lessons in the pool space available.
The Centre is working with organisations such as Royal Life Saving NSW, AUSTSWIM and Swim Australia to recruit instructors, as well as inspire more people to consider becoming a swim teacher.
The Centre shared “our new continuous enrolment system allows existing customers to seamlessly move between terms without the stress of re-enrolling.
“This approach not only streamlines the administrative process for parents but provides consistency in learning for our students.
“A further improvement has been the introduction of an online enrolment system, which provides parents greater accessibility and convenience.
“We have invested a significant amount of time and effort to implementing our Online Portal, which allows our customers to view, book, and adjust their enrolments at their convenience.
“It also helps our Swim School team by freeing them up to focus on enhancing, expanding and delivering our programs, which in turn is also a win for our students.
The Centre is also reviewing how waiting lists are managed to ensure the needs of the increasing number of parents signing their children up for swim lessons are met.
Kiama Leisure Centre encourages anyone interested in joining the program to utilise the online portal, as spaces may become available at any time:
