KAP7 extends partnership with Water Polo Australia across grassroots and high-performance
December 11, 2020

KAP7 Australia has extended their partnership as the official ball supplier for Water Polo Australia (WPA) - re-signing through until the Paris Olympic Games.

The deal will see KAP7 as the official ball partner of WPA across the whole sport, including the Australian Youth Water Polo Championships which is the largest water polo participation event in the Southern Hemisphere, the Australian Waterpolo League and junior participation program Flippaball.

Water Polo Australia Chief Executive, Richard McInnes said KAP7 have been a valued partner of WPA and their continued support will help grow the sport at the grassroots and elite levels.

McInnes notes “we are excited to have KAP7 on board for another four years, and their support will extend across both grassroots and high-performance programs.

“KAP7 have been an important part of the Australian water polo family since 2018, and we’re excited to continue working with them in the buildup to our Olympic campaigns as well key national sporting events including the Australian Waterpolo League and Australian Youth Water Polo Championships.

“We have seen the significant investment they are making to our sport right around the country and we value the opportunity to work with them hand in hand to collectively build water polo at all levels of the sport.”

As part of the deal, KAP7 will supply unique designs for both the Australian Youth Water Polo Championships and Australian Waterpolo League.

KAP7 Australia Director Tara Mackay adds “KAP7 is very excited to continue our partnership with Water Polo Australia for a full Olympic cycle of four years. This gives us scope to extend our reach throughout Australia with innovative water polo events, camps and clinics using high quality KAP7 balls and equipment. From Flippa Ball right through to high performance our goal is to increase both enjoyment, participation and development of water polo throughout Australia.”

KAP7 are also the naming rights partner of the Aussie Sharks, which continue through until the Tokyo Olympic Games.
