Intelligenz Solutions has announced it is now ready to release its suite of software applications for spas, leisure, fitness, golf and recreation facilities into China.

Already successful in 12 other countries, Intelligenz has invested heavily to ensure that is has both the localized product, and the support team, to be successful in what appears to be a very large future market opportunity for its solutions.

Chief Executive Anne Battersby explains "we have taken considerable time and effort to ensure that we launch into China on a sound basis. Many other companies have made the mistake of thinking, 'large market-let's go'.

"The reality is that there are many issues beyond presenting the product in local format, there are considerable issues of support, local partnerships and local customs which have to be addressed, before you are truly market ready.

"With a product and support solution in place, we find that the opportunities in China now appear to be relatively near term and we expect to make announcements on a regular basis throughout the year, as to new customers joining our network.

"One of the really interesting side benefits of this investment has been the complete enthusiasm with which our staff has embraced the push into China. Many of them know our existing geographic markets well, and have embraced the idea of learning more about China. "We see this as a company- wide commitment, and one where patience and further learning will be necessary."

Intelligenz has the ability to deploy in any language, and while some of our large partners and competitors continue to offer English only solutions.

Battersby adds "we believe that it is important for customers to be able to access their organisation's data in whatever language they are most comfortable with.

"In a spa environment as an example, we may have an English speaking Spa Director but staff who (with) no English (skills). We think it's important that both can access the information from a single system and Intelligenz provides that capability."
