read moreAs a part of an ongoing commitment to advocating the health, social and economic benefits of the national aquatic industry, the National Aquatic Industry Committee (NAIC) and Royal Life Saving Society - Australia are looking to understand and analyse at a high level the state of the aquatic industry's infrastructure and workforce needs in 2022 and beyond.
A newly launched brief survey aims to document the facility infrastructure and workforce needs of the aquatic industry.
In particular, the survey seeks to highlight the impacts of the pre- and post-pandemic aquatic industry workforce as well as the impact of ageing aquatic infrastructure.
The survey is intended to be completed by the manager, or a suitable representative, for each facility who will be able to describe the unique features of the facility as well as speak to key data reference points such as the number of staff employed at the facility.
The information within the survey will be analysed by the Royal Life Saving research and advocacy teams to identify trends, strengths and weaknesses, needs, and future opportunities. The data will be used to generate a roadmap for aquatic advocacy.
Giving background to the survey, Royal Life Saving advise “if you an aquatic facility manager, or responsible for the planning and delivery of aquatics for a local government area, we need 10 minutes of your time to better map and respond to the needs of your facility.”
The survey is anonymous but participants who choose to leave their name and email address will be eligible to win a $50 Coles Myer gift voucher.
Responses will be separated from the prize entry so your answers will remain anonymous.
The survey will only take 10-15 minutes to complete.
The survey closes midnight Sunday 10th June 2022.
