Aquatics and Recreation Victoria thanks sponsors for backing regional conference
May 20, 2022

Addressing issues including recovery, recruitment, outcomes and the social value of the industry, Aquatics and Recreation Victoria has completed its 2022 Regional Conference at GMHBA Stadium, Geelong.

Presented by Perfect Gym, and running from 4th to 6th May, Aquatics and Recreation Victoria (ARV) acknowledged the contributions of all attendees, presenters and sponsors in ensuring the event was such a success, noting, in a statement “we are extraordinarily grateful to our sponsors for making this event possible, in particular, Matt Inglis and the Perfect Gym team, our Platinum Sponsors.

“Our gold sponsors, Roejen Services Pty and UPR Plumbing Services Pty Ltd again supported ARV, as they have for many years.

“We also thank our silver sponsors Xplor and Myzone® for their contributions throughout the event.”

On the Thursday and Friday of the conference, ARV advised that delegates were “treated to an array of informative, innovative and inspiring presentations responding to the conference theme: Recover, Revive and Rebuild.

“Our presenters shared their industry experiences, knowledge and thoughts for the future which ARV is excited to pursue in the coming weeks and months.

“Our traders in the Trade Expo provided delegates with many options for suppliers and services, and we look forward to hearing of future projects that have come out of this expo.

“Our hosts at GMHBA Stadium, Geelong Football Club and the City of Greater Geelong supported us immensely in providing such a successful event.”

Wednesday 4th May included a series of site tours to aquatic, recreation and sporting sites in the region including the City of Greater Geelong’ Leisurelink, the Adventure Park Geelong theme and water park and to the base of the Geelong Cats.

All three tours showcased excellent facilities and were welcoming and generous with their time and knowledge.

ARV’s next events include its Go With The Flow - Swim School Seminar on 1st June and its annual Industry Conference which is being held from 3rd to 5th August.
