Ignite set to hold first Australian fitness event

Ignite set to hold first Australian fitness event
November 6, 2018

Following the international success of Ignite conventions, Australia’s first Ignite fitness event is to be held in Melbourne in February next year.

Hosted by fitness entrepreneur and gym owner Mel Tempest, the innovative event uses a unique time-based information delivery format that has never before been delivered in the Australian industry.

Tempest describes the event  “as a blend of ‘fitness workshop’ meets ‘speed dating’ ... designed to deliver high-quality information in a super fast format, where presenters deliver five minute presentations that consist of 20 slides, and every 15 seconds each one automatically advances to the next.”

With presentations lasting only five minutes, Tempest explains “these days gym owners are all pressed for time, so this event is specifically designed to deliver highly valuable information in and fast and fun way.”

The Ignite Fitness event is being held at the Crown Plaza Melbourne on 22nd February 2019.

Tempest adds “Ignite talks have been held all over the world for many years but this is the first time the Australian fitness industry will have the opportunity to ignite the passions of quickfire presenters who have a concise message to share.”

Currently, Tempest is inviting presenters and sponsors to become involved in the event while attendees can book their places online, with a special foundation rate available.

For sponsors, Tempest advises “if your brand is synonymous with innovation, speed or quality of information then you may be an ideal fit with the revolutionary event.

“To-date, there’s nothing like this event here in Australia, so to be involved from the very beginning is a sure-fire way for any fitness business to confirm its brand position as an innovative force to be reckoned.”
