Hong Kong Government advances Kai Tak Sports Park Project
The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region have launched a new website for the Kai Tak Sports Park Project, through which initial non-binding Expressions of Interest are being sought.
The design for the Kai Tak Sports Park contemplates delivery of an international-grade sports stadium, with a 50,000-seat capacity, which will provide an exceptional experience for spectators.
The Main Stadium will incorporate state-of-the-art technology and provide a wide range of seating and hospitality options. Other facilities will include a Public Sports Ground, an Indoor Sports Centre, a Hotel, an Office Block and a sports-themed destination shopping centre.
The Hong Kong Government’s Home Affairs Bureau seeks to partner with a consortium that shares its vision for this project, to deliver what it calls “a vibrant Sports Park for the people of Hong Kong.”
The Home Affairs Bureau is now inviting parties interested in the provision of design, construction, commercial and/or operational expertise to the Project to register non-binding EOIs on the Project website.
