read moreThe 2019 edition of Australasia's leading fitness convention is ready to launch with the Business Summit on Thursday 11th April in Sydney.
The Summit is a one day immersion in all aspects of fitness business that is to be addressed by speakers covering vital topics such as leadership, brand evolution, member experience to drive retention and building world class teams.
The Keynote presentation for the Business Summit is to be delivered by Dr Angus Hervey and Melissa Neighbour from Future Crunch, Australia’s leading speakers on technology and future thinking.
Future Crunch are experts in delivering facts and perspectives for the future of work, busting the myths, providing evidence of how technology is paving the way for new opportunities. They inspire optimism and open the conversation for views on managing change to embrace the new.
Commenting on the issues to be addressed during their presentation, Dr Hervey advises “advancements in technology have provided a catalyst to redefine the needs of people in the workplace, and as a result, we see a move towards more flexibility and a greater desire for meaning and purpose in the next economy.
“While these changes present challenges, they also offer an opportunity for the workforce of the future to find a sense of renewed freedom.”
In their presentation, The Robot Rule of Thumb, Future Crunch explores the changing world of work, and how technological disruption is redefining the skills that matter.
Suggesting that ‘machines’ aren’t here to take jobs, but will change them, the pair explain how it will be human skills that count and will advise how to start building a workplace that is prepared for automation, disruption and changing work patterns.
A spokesperson for the organisers of the FILEX Business Summit explains that this presentation will provide “essential insights for any fitness business searching to drive innovative ways of working in the 21st century.”
