FieldTurf Australia has been awarded exclusive rights to distribute and install the world-leading FieldTurf Tarkett range of synthetic turf products in Australia.

Calling its product "the greatest turf on earth®", FieldTurf Tarkett is the largest manufacturer of synthetic sports turf and sporting surfaces in the world, with over 5,000 field installations.

Locally, FieldTurf Australia has been formed by three stalwarts of the Australian turf industry: Fred Oudendyk, Tony Volders and Robert Davey

Fred Oudendyk has been in the synthetic turf industry for 18 years, installing synthetic turf for sports including football, hockey, tennis and cricket in and around Victoria (including being responsible for Football Federation Victoriaâs three synthetic surfaces at its Darebin headquarters). In additionOudendyk has supplied and installed surfaces in New Zealand, Russia, Norway, USA, Mauritius, Vanuatu, Botswana, South Africa, Hong Kong and China, including the a field for the Beijing Olympics.

Tony Volders has been involved in civil construction and sports ground construction for over 20 years, being at the forefront in the use of 'laser levelling' while Robert Davey established Evergreen Turf Pty Ltd in 1982 and is now a major supplier of natural turf to a wide range of local and elite users of 'instant' natural turf including grass varieties specifically for sports fields.

FieldTurf Tarkett synthetic turf has steadily evolved to perform as close as possible to the characteristics of natural grass and is now used in a wide range of community sport, playgrounds and landscaping through to the elite levels of football, hockey, baseball and gridiron.
