Fernwood Fitness is celebrating securing two wins at the 2022 AUSactive Awards - being named Franchise Group of the Year and with its Fernwood Shellharbour club winning in the Employer of Choice category

After being announced as finalists for multiple categories including the Mental Health Awareness Award for the group’s implementation of the Mental Health First Aid program across their network, and the Industry Innovation Award for Fernwood’s sister brand, Fernwood Fusion and its revolutionary design, the group was thrilled and honoured to be recognised for Fernwood’s unique franchise model.

Fernwood Women’s Health Clubs General Manager, Caitlin Jury was elated by the announcement, saying she was incredibly proud of the entire Fernwood community for its unwavering support of the network and members alike.

Jury stated “there’s a reason we’re the health, fitness and wellness clubs more than 70,000 women across Australia love. We're here for our members and we’re here for our franchisees, that’s how it’s always been.

“By supporting our franchisees at a high level from everything to marketing, sales, training, and more, we can ensure our members are always putting their best foot forward both in and out of the club.”

Fernwood Shellharbour was recognised by AUSactive as Employer of Choice at a local level for the fantastic support, environment and culture at their club.

Fernwood Shellharbour has been building a community of empowered women for the last 20 years. The longest standing franchisees of any club at Fernwood, owners Adriana Ampuero and Grace Benavente have watched the network grow into the powerhouse it is today.

Striving to maintain an inclusive, supportive environment where members can achieve their health and fitness goals, the pair and their team truly care about their members and the wider community.
