Burpengary Regional Aquatic and Leisure Centre (BRALC), previously named Caboolture Regional Aquatic and Leisure Centre (CRALC), is reopening this Saturday 2nd March with a new look and new management team following a $5.4 million refurbishment.

Refurbishment of the facility, now managed by Belgravia Leisure, has delivered a new internal ceiling, hydraulics, lighting, air ventilation and fire systems. A new paint job, retiling and regrouting of the pools, new doors and windows were also included as part of the multi-million-dollar project to revamp the centre which receives more than 200,000 visitations every year.

In-ground services including sewer and pool water reticulation have also been upgraded.

Mayor Allan Sutherland said BRALC would become part of Moreton Bay Regional Council’s master-planned Moreton Bay Central Sports Complex, commenting "we are creating a world-class hub for sport right here in Moreton Bay which will drive economic growth for the region and encourage more participation in sport."

Belgravia Leisure Queensland State Manager Dan Cullen said the team was honoured to be managing BRALC on behalf of the council.

Cullen advised “we have many exciting plans for the facility, including an upgrade to the gym equipment and layout and the introduction of our national Learn to Swim program Go Swim, which is powered by Swimming Australia."

To celebrate, Moreton Bay Regional Council and the centre’s new manager, Belgravia Leisure, are holding a family fun day on Saturday 23rd March 2019.

Entry to the Burpengary Big Splash is a gold coin donation which will go towards The Smith Family.
