read moreAAMI has been welcomed back to the Hungry Jack’s National Basketball League (NBL) as the Official Insurance Partner for the 2023/24 season.
For the past two seasons AAMI aligned with the NBL as a broadcast partner and will now enter a larger partnership with the League, featuring on the keyways on the courts.
Welcoming AAMI as the League’s eighth new partner for the 2023/24 season, NBL Chief Partnerships Officer, Lauren Hansen advised “AAMI is one of Australia’s most well-known and respected brands, and we are thrilled to broaden our partnership with them this season.
“The NBL continues to go from strength to strength, and AAMI continuing as part of our family of partners shows the trust and faith they have in our League and the broader sport.
“We look forward to what promises to be a mutually beneficial partnership for both parties, as we enter arguably the biggest season in recent history.”
AAMI’s Executive General Manager of Brand and Customer Experience, Mim Haysom added “AAMI is proud to partner with the NBL and associate with an Australian League that is well respected and much loved across the nation.
“We’re excited to continue our support, and play a role in bringing the game and its incredible athletes and role models to the millions of passionate fans and kids playing basketball around Australia.”
Sydney Kings and Flames announce NSW Premiers as joint number one ticket holders
Following on from winning back-to-back NBL Championships in April, the Sydney Kings have advised that NSW Premier Chris Minns and former Premier Dominic Perrottet have been invited to become joint ‘No. 1 Ticket Holders’ for both the Kings and the Sydney Flames during their upcoming seasons.
Advising that he was honoured to partner with the former Premier in support of Sydney’s national basketball league teams as they begin their championship quests, Premier Minns said “Sydney is the ‘hoops capital’ of Australia and it’s only fitting that support for basketball in our great State is reflected across the political divide.
“It is particularly fitting that Dom continues in this role with me. Sport is a connector in our community, not a divider.”
