read moreThe organisers of the Fuel Summit are staging an upcoming webinar exploring why more women aren't progressing in the fitness industry.
Being held on 22nd June (in Australia) the free Fuel Women's Think Tank webinar will be consist of a 60-minute virtual conversation, engaging participants and inviting them to share their experiences.
Introducing the webinar, Fuel Summit co-founder, Deborah Goldberg commented “things are changing but is it really happening fast enough, in meaningful ways?
“We want to hear from you. What have you experienced or witnessed as a block to fitness industry career progression? What’s been your biggest roadblock?
Goldberg’s co-founder Alisha Smith adds “this isn’t a finger-pointing, blaming or shaming session.
“It’s a chance to share and brainstorm and contribute to something better.”
The webinar will follow the Fuel Summit’s in-person 2023 Fitness Business Summit held in April at Sydney’s Museum of Contemporary Art with the theme ‘Innovation. Failure. Success.’
Explaining that she believes that banding together creates a stronger industry than attempting to survive solo, Goldberg went on to say “every year Fuel reinforces the belief that we’re so much stronger together.
“The women from the industry that come together to learn, connect and share continue to tell us that it’s the place they go to get re-inspired and to remember that they don’t have to do it - business, family, relationships, leadership -alone.
“Ultimately, that’s what helps us succeed, as individuals, as businesses, and as an industry.”
