read moreThe organisers of the Fuel Women’s Fitness Business Summit have announced that the event will return with a hybrid attendance model.
After taking a hiatus due to the pandemic, Fuel co-founders Deborah Goldberg and Alisha Smith felt that the 2022 event needed to happen, irrespective of other events postponing or cancelling dates.
To be held as an in-person event at Sydney’s Cockle Bay Wharf and with a virtual offering for women leaders from around the world, Goldberg explains “we’ve been planning this event for such a long time now.
“With the extended effects of the pandemic throwing our entire industry into disarray, we kept hearing how much everyone needed an opportunity to come together, to get inspired and focus on the future.
“At the heart of Fuel is the people: our delegates, presenters, suppliers and supporters. We really want to be able to deliver an incredible day that helps propel our community and the wider industry forwards. The foundation of that is connection and we see Fuel as the best vessel to bring that to life.”
Fuel 2022 will feature speakers including Morgan Rose Moroney, Gymshark athlete and co-founder of Apollo & Sage; panellist Hema Prakash, Vice President and Managing Director APAC for Mindbody and finance expert Mel Browne.
Goldberg added “the theme for 2022 is ‘Stand Up and Stand Out’.
“We’re more focused than ever on the ways in which we can bring more female leadership to the fore. There are so many intelligent, strategic, talented female leaders who have incredible experience and expertise to share, and we’re excited to be a major conduit for that.”
The one-day event is hosted live at Dockside in Sydney’s Cockle Bay Wharf and for the first time, global attendees can join virtually via live stream.
Tickets are now available for both in-person and virtual seats at Fuel 2022.
