read moreGlobal water treatment and pool equipment manufacturer Waterco Limited has appointed a new Product Training Manager to deliver learning and development programs across the company’s global divisions in the European Union, USA, Malaysia, China, Singapore, Indonesia, New Zealand, and Australia.
Joining Waterco, David Daft, whose career in the swimming pool and spa sector began in 1999 with Polaris Pool Systems and included a 24-year tenure with Fluidra, says his primary goal is to ensure that the company's sales and service employees, as well as potential customers and partners, have a comprehensive understanding of the products and services offered by Waterco.
Daft advises “this will involve cultivating strong relationships with the product managers; mechanical, electrical and software engineers, state managers; and sales teams to ensure that our training programs align with their needs and goals.
“I also look forward to working with Davey Water Australia to stay informed and updated with their new product developments and training methodologies to ensure our educational programs platforms remain relevant and practical.”
Advising that Daft’s appointment comes at a time of significant international growth for Waterco, and the new role will be key to growing awareness and understanding of its ever increasing suite of products, Waterco Group Chief Operating Officer, Bryan Goh stated “Daft has great passion and enthusiasm for the pool and spa industry and brings with him a wealth of expertise in technical support and training.”
With over 24 years’ experience in the industry, Daft’s insights in the highly competitive, multi-billion dollar pool and spa sector are considered an asset.
Daft went on to say“I am thrilled to have been offered this opportunity with Waterco.
“With a great team in place here to support me and a product range that’s renowned worldwide for its water and energy saving innovations, I look forward to being a part of the company’s ongoing success.”
