Tourism Top End General Manager steps down to take on new role at the Northern Territory Major Events

Glen Hingley has stepped down from his General Manager role at Tourism Top End (TTE) to take up a new role at the Northern Territory Major Events Corporation.
TTE Chairman Shaun Pearce said in a statement to members that Hingley’s resignation after more than four years in the role was a decision “he has not taken lightly”, going on to advise “I would like to acknowledge and thank Glen for the tremendous efforts and dedication not only to the members and staff of Tourism Top End, but to our tourism industry as a whole.
“The association is now in a better position than when he commenced in October 2018.
“The Board of Management and I have enjoyed working closely with Glen, and we wish him the very best in his exciting new role here in the Territory’s visitor economy.”
Northern Territory Tourism Minister Nicole Manison thanked Hingley for his leadership through the pandemic, noting “Glen has been a key part of our tourism industry, and I’m thrilled he is bringing his unique skills to NTMEC, where he can continue to drive visitation to the Northern Territory.”
