Therabody launches new compression technology for athletes

Global leader in tech wellness, Therabody, has launched RecoveryAir - scientifically validated medical grade pneumatic compression technology to assist Australian athletes’ recovery through reducing muscle fatigue, soreness, swelling, inflammation and increased overall circulation.
Therabody is trusted by medical and health specialists, professional athletes, physios and more than 350 sports teams around the world with this latest device extending its wellness suite by delivering RecoveryAir to the masses.
RecoveryAir is twice as fast than any other product on the market. Targeting the lower body by sliding the device on like a pair of pants, it uses precise controlled pressure to promote the health of the circulatory system, encouraging blood flow and circulation back to the heart. The pressure is then released, allowing blood to flow back to the limb. With wireless smart control, all users have to do is put the device on and let the guided treatment programs do the rest.
Available in two models:
•RecoveryAir - RRP $989: Recommended for the everyday user no matter the age. RecoveryAir incorporates a unique design of four internal overlapping chambers that safely maximises circulation. This flushes out metabolic waste more effectively and allows fresh, oxygenated blood to return to the limb faster.
•RecoveryAir Pro - RRP $1,829: Designed for professional use by athletes or ‘weekend warriors’, this model includes all the standard features of the RecoveryAir, plus access to wireless smart control with five recommended programs that can be extensively customised to user needs via Bluetooth® in the RecoveryAir app.
